Requirements

We are grateful for your interest in NMH Summer and look forward to helping you with the application process.

Our process is designed to help our team and your family determine if our program is the right fit for your student. We use a web-based portal, Ravenna, where you will manage your student's application. Once you have created an account and selected a program type, you will see required items in your “to-do” list.

Each program has slightly different application requirements:

    • Application form and fee

    • Course selections

    • Previous year’s transcript

    • Two teacher evaluations (English and current math teacher) 

    • International students only: international student form, video, and TOEFL scores n text goes here

Timeline

Our rolling admission process opens in mid-October for the upcoming summer. Decisions will be released on a rolling basis. We strongly encourage you to complete your application early, as our program fills up quickly.

Families seeking financial assistance must submit a financial aid application no later than 5 pm on Feb. 16, 2027.

Process

2. Set Up a Student Profile

Or, for returning students, review the existing one and make sure their current grade and school are accurate.

1. Create Your Ravenna Account

3. Start the Application Process

Choose "Apply to School" and select "NMH Summer" from the school directory. After you click the green “Apply” button, select the student and your application type (which depends on the length of the program and your student’s grade). Complete the remaining fields and click “Continue”.

4. Complete the Preliminary Application and Pay Application Fee

Our admission team cannot view any of your application materials until you submit the fee in Ravenna. If this fee presents a financial hardship for your family, please let us know, and we will provide a waiver code.

5. Upload Documents

After you pay the fee or submit a waiver code, you will see a list of required documents. Please follow the instructions for uploading documents and delegating teacher/tutor evaluations. Be sure to remind teachers to check their spam/junk folder for the email from Ravenna if it's not in their inbox.

6. Application Review

After you have uploaded all required documents, your completed application will be reviewed. A member of the NMH Summer admission team will be in touch regarding next steps.
