A Simple Application Process
We offer limited financial aid for families based on demonstrated need and the availability of funds. The vast majority of financial aid is reserved for domestic students.
NMH Summer uses Clarity, a user-friendly financial aid application system.
The application process should take about 20 to 30 minutes to complete
It’s mobile-friendly, so you can do it on your phone or tablet.
Your most recent 1040 and W2 documents will be automatically transferred from the IRS when you complete the verification step, so you will not need to upload those documents manually.
If you do not complete the entire application at once, you can save your progress and return to it later.
There is a $65 submission fee, and you can share your application with additional schools that accept the Clarity Application for no additional charge.
Please remember to return to your dashboard after you complete and submit your Clarity application, as NMH Summer may require you to upload additional tax documentation (see below).

Current NMH Students
You do not need to submit an additional financial aid application for NMH Summer. We can access your information through the academic year financial aid office.
Incoming/New NMH Students
Students attending for the academic year may not apply for financial aid for NMH Summer in their first year but may apply the following year.
All NMH Students
Eligible applicants may receive financial aid for one summer only.
Additional Tax Documentation
After submitting your Clarity application, please return to the dashboard to upload additional tax information required by NMH. See below for the required information:
Families in the U.S.
Current tax year’s W2s/1099s or end-of-year pay stub
Most recent IRS 1040 tax returns, signed, with all tax schedules, statements, and W2s/1099s
Families Who Own a Business
Most recent business tax returns and balance sheets (if you own any part in a farm, sole proprietorship, partnership, S-Corporation), IRS Schedule K-1, Form 1065, Form 1120, and/or Form 1120S.
Families Who Own a Business
Notarized copy of your most recent income tax report
Earnings statement from your employer
Three (3) consecutive months of your most recent bank statements
